Investigation launched into unexplained death

Hello Resident,

We have launched an investigation following an unexplained death in Milton Keynes.

We were called to an address in Nathaniel Close, Shenley Brook End, at around 6.50pm on Friday after a 33-year-old woman was sadly found dead. Our thoughts are with the woman’s next of kin, whom we are supporting; she has not been formally identified.

There is no threat to the wider public but people will see an increased police presence in the area while we investigate, with a scenewatch in place; please speak to a uniformed officer if you have any concerns. 

A 33-year-old man of no fixed abode has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody at this time while we establish the facts. 

We are in the early stages of a complex investigation but we are following a number of lines of enquiry to establish in full the circumstances around the death.
